14-day hire car tour of La Réunion

1st - 4th day: Stay on Saint Denis
Arrival on Mauritius and a connecting flight to Réunion. Welcome at the airport and pick up hire car. Then a drive to St. Denis and a four night stay in the Hotel Mercure Creolia, St. Denis.  

This hotel of the comfort class is approximately a 15 minute drive from the airport, in a living area over the city, with a wonderful view over St. Denis. It is perfectly positioned for easily reaching after arrival and for visiting the north of the island.
Rooms: The 110 rooms of the hotel all have a bath or shower, toilet, air conditioning, TV, telephone, mini bar, safe, balcony or terrace. The beautiful hotel lobby and the large swimming pool lend the hotel it's wonderful atmosphere.
Activities: A gym is also available for our guests, as well as a sauna, a small Turkish bath and a massage room.

5th - 8th day: Cirque du Cilaos
Early in the morning a 50 minute drive to the parking place on the edge of the volcano and afterwards a hike around the crater edge. A drive to Cilaos and four nights in the Hotel Le Vieux Cep, Cilaos.

Le Vieux Cep is the perfect place for going hiking on the island and for mountain bike tours in Cirque de Cilaos. The restaurant is especially loved by the locals.
Rooms: Each of the 20 rooms have a bath, telephone and TV. In the building are also a bar and a swimming pool.

9th - 12th day: Stay on the coast of St. Gilles
Here our guests have the possibility of helicopter flights, various water sports and canyon expeditions. Another four nights are then spent in the Hotel Villas du Lagon, St Gilles.  

This wonderful resort, which has just recently opened, is only three kilometers distant from St. Gilles, is the area Hermitage. Spread over a seven hector large tropical garden are 23 villas, all built in the Creolian style. The private beach of the hotel is a 600m long invitation to relax.
Rooms: The hotel complex consists of 21 villas with 6-10 rooms, and two villas with each four suites. All rooms have a bath, air conditioning, telephone, TV/video, mini bar and a private terrace. In the complex are also an excellent Creolian restaurant, a pizzeria and a grill restaurant.
Activities: The resort has a swimming pool, sauna, tennis court, fitness area and a boot house.

13th day: Return flight
Drive in the morning to the St. Denis airport. Then the flight to Germany with Air Mauritius.
