Alphonse Island Resort
The coral island of Alphonse, which comprises 174 hectares, is situated
500 km south of Mahé. The island can be walked round in about
an hour and a half, along small paths. Shipwrecks lay on the bottom of the
sea at both of the tapered ends of the island. Guests can choose one of the
25 bungalows or stay in one of the five Deluxe Villas. For those seeking ultimate
comfort, the Presidential Villa is the perfect place to stay.
Rooms/Accommodation: All rooms are surrounded by tropical vegetation
on the edge of the lagoon. They are very spacious and have a ceiling fan
and air-conditioning. All the bungalows and villas include a veranda,
king-size bed, spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi and a private shower in the garden
that cannot be overlooked by other guests. The Deluxe Villas also feature a private
Jacuzzi on the terrace. Activities: The use of water sport equipment such as canoes, surfboards,
snorkelling equipment and bicycles is included.
At extra charge: diving excursions with professional instructors and trips to
the neighbouring islands Bijoutier and Saint Francois.
