Anse Takamaka is located in a completely isolated and private area with no
houses around. The quiet beach, which is 700 steps long, has very fine sand
and is sheltered by pines and Takamaka trees.
Large granite rocks separate Anse Takamaka into small pocket beaches, adding
even more privacy to it. The beach lies in the Curieuse Marine National Park
and offers very good snorkelling. While laying on the beach one can enjoy the
close view of Curieuse Island.
