This first-class Ayurveda centre on the west coast of Sri Lanka was newly opened in November 2002 and is
separated from the beach by only a narrow street.
Accommodation/Amenities:
The 15 Queen and King Villas are impressive, their tasteful design and
selected furniture compliments their individual characteristics. Each
luxurious villa has a small private garden with an open-air bathtub and
shower; inside the villa there is toilet, telephone, satellite-TV, safe for
personal belongings, a mini-bar, air-conditioning and a ceiling fan.
A Ceylonese-style wall surrounds each pavilion and the main grounds feature
the reception, an open restaurant, fresh water pool and an Ayurveda centre.
The Ayurveda centre is home to a meditation room, perfect for Yoga lessons
and a small shop selling Ayurveda products. Ayurveda treatments can be held
on the rooftop verandah of your pavilion or at the centre and there is a
wide diversity in dishes with the Ayurvedan food specially combined to suit
your personal requirements.
Activities:
Tennis, squash and an air-conditioned fitness center are available at the
Hotels Royal/Blue Oceanic.
Ayurveda Treatment:
Please note, that every treatment will be different and individually
tailored by your therapist in order to stimulate positive results. The
daily treatments will be held according to your desire either in the
excellently equipped Ayurveda Center (herbal, flower steam-baths, sauna, oil
stream massages etc.) or in the privacy of your villa (baths, massages).
