Most of the 60 island inhabitants live in the old (and only!) village, Saint Denis, and make their
living by fishing and farming. Thanks to the richly populated seas surrounding it, Denis is a
popular holiday destination for deep-sea anglers. Dog tooth tuna, bonito, marlin and sailfish are
just some of the exotic fish that are caught here. The crystal-clear water is also ideal
for snorkelling and swimming.
Denis Island guarantees a private, peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for its
visitors - the closest you can get to owning your own paradise island!
