The Hotel Pointe Vénus is considered the most luxurious hotel on Rodrigues.
It is located in the north-east of the island in the Mont Vénus region,
three kilometres from the capital Port Mathurin, and is situated on a
relatively steep hill 100 metres above sea level. It is surrounded by three very beautiful
tropical gardens, especially planted by a professional landscaper. The
comfortable interiors and room designs were also created by a
renowned interior decorator.

The hotel has 45 Superior Rooms, 6 Family Apartments, 2 Junior Suites and 1
Senior Suite. All categories are equipped with air-conditioning, fan, safe,
minibar, coffee and tea cooker, Sat-TV, own terrace, shower, toilet and
hair-dryer. Additionally, the 3 Suites have a Jacuzzi.
The main restaurant with its 100 seats, where breakfast and dinner is
served, offers a Creole and European menu. A snack bar is open for lunch.
The hotel also offers a small separate à la carte restaurant, bar, mini-club, boutique,
swimming pool and children's pool.
Activities
Beach volley ball, boccia, pedalos and kayaks are free. Deep-sea fishing,
diving and boat trips are available at an extra charge.
Entertainment
Occasional evening entertainment in form of chorus dancing, sega shows
and vaudeville.
