Hunas Falls


The Hunas Falls Hotel is approximately 26 kilometres from the centre of Kandy among tea plantations and spice gardens in the mountain range of Elkaduwa. Close to the hotel, there is a beautiful waterfall with a spectacular view of the mountain slopes and valleys. The stunning fauna and flora can be discovered together with the help of the hotels naturalist on three to six hour hiking tours. His knowledge is immense and his love for one the most beautiful landscapes in Sri Lanka is apparent as he talks about the vegetation and wildlife.

The 30 rooms are equipped with bathroom, toilet, TV, telephone, mini-bar, air-conditioning and terrace or balcony. The two Themed Suites feature a living room with a comfortable seating area, fireplace, kitchenette, spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a fabulous bathroom with a Jacuzzi, panoramic window, shower, two washbasins and a separate toilet.

Activities: The following sport and leisure activities are available for all guests: swimming pool, golf course, fun-fishing in the lake, mountain biking, billiards, tennis, guided trekking tours and treatments at the Ayurveda Centre.

Excursions: There are regular excursions to Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya and the Victoria Reservoir.
