Kandooma Tourist Resort
Kandooma Tourist Resort is situated in the heart of the Maldives in South
Malé Atoll and can be reached from the International Airport Malé within
45minute speedboat ride. The latest renovation works have lead to great
improvements in the resort. Due to the islands strategic location diving
excursions to the closer neighboring islands and reefs are perfect to
discover the unique variety offered by the underwater world therefore
attracting divers who relish an interest in first class diving conditions.
Rooms/Accommodation: All 102 guests rooms are spacious and come with desalinated water supplies.
The 38 Standard Rooms are facilitated with a bathroom, private terrace and
ceiling fan, in the 64 Superior Rooms the fans are replaced by air
conditioning.
The restaurant serves local and international dishes and the two bars and
the coffee shop offer hot and cold drinks and cocktails. The newly built
swimming pool has a jacuzzi and children's playground.
Activities: Kandooma features the first 5-star PADI diving center on the Maldives and
has German and English speaking instructors. Diving excursions to the most
interesting locations are offered on a regular basis at extra fees as well
as snorkeling trips to the nearby reefs. At extra charges: catamaran
sailing, canoeing, water ski and windsurfing, nightfishing and sunrise
fishing trips, picnic excursions to uninhabited islands. Included: darts,
volleyball and table tennis.
Entertainment: Listen to a live band or watch a traditional Bodu-Beru show with local
music and dancing or enjoy a dance with a loved one at the discotheque.
