Frégate Island is the perfect location for those seeking peace and tranquillity.
The island, roughly 1.5 square miles in size, offers the comfort and luxury of
16 exclusive villas, along with six breathtaking sandy beaches, crystal clear
waters, tropical sunshine and unique flora and fauna. The villas are directly
next to the small idyllic bay of "Anse Bambou" with snow-white coral sands.
Rooms/Accommodation: The 16 exceptionally designed villas are built so
that they cannot be overlooked. Each villa includes a living room, spacious
bedroom, two bathrooms and a foyer that connects all of the rooms. A roomy
sundeck with private Jacuzzi and a king-size sun chair complete the luxurious
accommodation.
Apart from excellent international gourmet cuisine, the main
restaurant offers a fantastic view of the Indian Ocean. Daily á la carte
breakfast available. In the "Seychelles Plantation House", a renovated colonial
mansion, guests can enjoy Creole dishes with the freshest ingredients from the
private plantation in a traditional atmosphere.
In the central area, there is also a fitness centre, a library with a large
selection of videos and CDs as well as a playground for the younger guests. The
uniquely designed freshwater swimming pool is built into the cliff surface.
Activities: Sports activities such as yoga, aerobics and hiking are
offered free of charge. Massages, manicure and pedicure services are available
at additional cost. The range of water sport facilities on Frégate Island are
practically unlimited. The resort owns an entire fleet of yachts, sailing boats,
catamarans and motorboats for deep sea fishing (extra charge). Highlights for
every diver are the excursions to the underwater world of the coral reefs
(extra charge). Non-engine water sports are included in the price.
The Rock Spa: The first indigenous spa in Seychelles is located on one of the
peaks of the island. Guests will approach the spa through a natural rock archway under
the roots of banyan trees. Incorporating nature's elements (air, earth, water, fire) the
spa has various pools and rocks situated around the buildings, the terraces have
open-air stone baths and massage tables to enable treatments to be administered
outdoors. An apothecary will make many of the remedial therapies on location
from native ingredients and will allow guests to see for themselves how it is
produced. Oils will also be imported from India and traditional therapies for
ailments, detoxification, rejuvenation and revitalisation are available.
