Madagascar's nature treasures can hardly be described in words. The island is home to the worlds largest number of endemic bird and butterfly species, lemurs and chameleons. Due to badly developed infrastructure these animals are much more threatened by extinction than anywhere else. Madagascar also offers a fantastic marine world. The diving locations north and south of Nosy Be are renowned to be some of the best in the world. Small tropical islands with dreamlike sandy beaches, diverse culture and local cuisine inspired by the French, Arabian and Asian influences, makes this location a varied holiday experience.

Madagascar's tourism is still developing and sometimes requires an understanding of not everything working according to plan. Visitors can however expect to be compensated in the form of a unique and rich nature, culture and a friendly Malagasy people.
