Palm Beach Resort
Shaped like a sandy triangle, this secluded island is a short, 45minute
flight by seaplane north of Malé International Airport. Lush tropical
vegetation, three miles of white sandy beaches and a breathtaking lagoon is
the perfect setting for you to relax, rest and enjoy.
Rooms/Accommodation:
Two thousand coconut palm trees provide the privacy and tranquillity, for
the 100 guestrooms, nestled along the coast of the island. The resort is
made up of 55 Deluxe Bungalows, 25 Superior Deluxe Bungalows and 20 two-story
villas. The rooms are elegantly designed and each features a private
terrace with traditional Maldivian swing and an open-air bathroom. Superior
rooms are more spacious and the unique Villas let guests enjoy the luxury
of a private jacuzzi in the own garden. The rooms are equipped with a fan,
air conditioning, a shower, bath and toilet, IDD telephone, satellite TV
and in-house movies, music channels, a minibar and a safe for valuables.
The choice of four restaurants and seven bars cater for all your on site
requirements.
Activities:
Included: ½ day island excursions, canoeing, windsurfing, tennis, squash
and fitness centre.
Not included: Diving with the assistance of the five star PADI diving
centre, night fishing and fishing trips to other nearby islands as well as
bicycle rental and rental of snorkelling equipment attract a fee.
Entertainment:
Traditional Bodu Beru shows, which highlight and feature local music and
dance, entertain guests each night. Evening shows, discotheque nights and
beach parties are organised. Afternoon teas are accompanied by music and
there is a Maldivian Night buffet once a week.
