The Plantation Club
This very well kept, spacious hotel was built on the long beach of Baie Lazare, in the south west of Mahé.
It is set atmidst 180 acres of gorounds on the premises of a former coconut plantation.
The hotel, about 12 miles away from Victoria, features its own
helicopter pad.
Rooms/Accommodation: The 148 Superior Rooms and the 147 luxurious Deluxe Rooms all feature
bath/shower, toilet, air-conditioning, radio, TV, telephone, minibar and safe. Each room has a
balcony/terrace with lagoon or ocean view.
Amenities include two restaurants, a snack bar on the beach, five additional bars, casino, pool with
children's area, sauna, Jacuzzi, massages, children's club (2-11 years), baby sitting services. Activities: Free of charge: sailing, windsurfing, kayaks, pedalos, snorkelling equipment,
two tennis courts, badminton and fitness room. Diving and deep-sea fishing can be arranged at extra
cost. Entertainment: Various programmes for evening entertainment.
Please note: Swimming in the sea and water sport activities are not possible during low tide.
From the middle of April to the end of November, washed up sea grass may appear on the coastline.
Bathing shoes ar recommended.
