Veligandu is located about 50 km from the International Airport Malé in the Rasdhoo Atoll in the Northern Ari Atoll and can be reached by seaplane within 15 minutes. Due to the long white beaches that surround the L-shaped island that stretches out widely into the turquoise-blue lagoon, Veligandu with its natural beauty is the perfect destination for a sunny, lazy and relaxing stay.

Rooms/Accommodation
For a room in Veligandu there are three different types of accommodation: 45 Superior Rooms are directly on the beach and feature a sand-covered veranda with a breathtaking view onto the ocean. They are tastefully furnished and come with air condition, ceiling van, IDD telephone, minibar, safe, CD- player and a semi-open bathroom with shower. The eight Deluxe Bungalows have the same equipment as the Superior Rooms plus an additional bathtub, tea and coffee making facilities and a private, semi- circle sundeck, built on stilts directly over the lagoon. 22 Water Bungalows are equipped as comfortably as the Deluxe Rooms with even more luxury and elegance, with espresso- and cappuccino machine, bathroom with open view onto the lagoon and spacious terrace with sundeck on two stories.


The floor of the palm-thatched open Dhonveli Restaurant is covered with powder sand and thus conveys the relaxed Maldivian atmosphere while enjoying the first-class cuisine, that is offered by the chef on various theme buffets or a-la-carte dinners. For refreshing cocktails or light snacks, the Haruge Bar & Coffee Shop is at the guest's disposal with the huge sandbank on the fringe of the bar.

The resort also includes the famous Serena Spa, that rejuvenates the exhausted body, mind and soul with a variety of treatments from Asian massage to holistic Ayurveda (at extra charges).
